About The Team
Tilbury U15 Lions are a youth football team based in Tilbury, Essex. The team is made up of talented young players who are passionate about the sport and dedicated to improving their skills and teamwork. The 🦁 compete in the Brentwood leagues, showcasing their talent and sportsmanship to the community.
With a dedicated coaching team and supportive parents, the 🦁last season finished 4th in the league. The team not only focuses on developing their skills as individual players, but also emphasizes the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. The U14 🦁are a competitive force and will be looking for some silverware in the 25/26 season.
As the U14 🦁 continue to grow and develop, they are focused on achieving their goals and representing their team with pride.

Being a personal dream to get in to coaching, i was fortunate to start that dream 3 years ago coaching U8’s but then came the opportunity to coach my own sons team at U13. Spending a year with East Thurrock and more time with my own son was the perfect combination. Having lived in Tilbury for 41 years it made sense for me to move across to Tilbury when the opportunity came and even better that the entire team moved across too.

I'm the dad to one of the players in the team. I was given the opportunity to step in and help manage the team last season and done my coaching courses what an opportunity it as been... This is my second season with the team.
I'm really enjoying being part of the team and start to show the kids what I learnt over the years of playing myself.
